• Medicare Part A helps pay for hospital costs.

• Medicare Part E is a Supplement Plan, also known as a Medigap Plan. It helps pay for the costs that Medicare Part A and B do not cover. It does not include a Medicare Part D drug plan. To have a Part D drug plan, you need to buy a stand-alone Part D Plan.
